| Passing of Professor Emeritus Paul GrayIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Gray, professor emeritus and the founding chair of the Programs in Information Science of the School of Information Systems and Technology. Paul was a leader and innovator in the field of information systems. Addressing the audience at commencement ceremonies this past Saturday, Dean Tom Horan spoke fittingly about Paul’s legacy: “Every student who graduates here today can trace their success to the wide net of innovation in information systems that was cast by Paul Gray.” Paul’s passing came as a result of a car accident, which also injured his wife, Muriel. We send our deepest sympathies to Muriel, their daughter, and their two grandchildren. Arrangements are pending. Introducing Lifetime Alumni Email AccountsThe Office of Alumni Relations and the Office of Information Technology are delighted to offer our graduates a lifetime email account powered by Google. This service is FREE to all alumni, and is an actual email account, not an email forwarding system. Your CGU Alumni Email account will also allow you access to services such as Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Google Talk, and has a total of 7GB of storage space. All News |
